So, like I said somewhere else, the concept for the next chapter has been reworked. I love the idea of it ... except I've made it about 3 times as long.

The great thing about writing is that it's unpredictable. It's also the worst thing about writing. While writing for Chapter 7, I ended up shoring up the blurbs I'd written for the rest of the Chapters for KM many years ago. I've ended up with about 25 chapters. I'll be drawing KM till I'm 80. >_> <_< And that's even with deleting a chapter and an entire character (well, he'll have a sorta cameo if all goes according to plan). I've also written about 25% of Chapter 8 while working on Chapter 7 (not on purpose).

So in all, the script for Chapter 7 is about 10% done, because this is the third rewrite since its conception, and I just spend most of my time writing for Chapter 8.

Which also means that the two pages I've drawn for Chapter 7 I'm going to either have to scrap or rework (hopefully the latter).

And that's about it for now.

I love it when inspiration hits. So I'm about finished 70-80% the script, which was a lot faster than I thought it would be. It's approximately 30 pages, give or take. There's some really awesome scenes in it, if I do say so myself.

And the best torture scene ever. *insert evil laugh*

Sure. Thanks for the offer. I might PM you if I need costume designs too. I need plenty of those. I need to go get inspired by something ... clothing designs haven't been all that easy for me lately. *an excuse to look at Sony-Enix art and other game art*

So I'm pretty much 90-95% done with the script, pending minor tweaking and improved segue-waying. I've also devised three different backgrounds ... and have about three hundred to go. I've started on the first page of the next chapter and have successfully butchered a horse despite a reference. I used to be able to draw horses really well, too.

So clearly stress feeds my artistic muse. Yesterday I was preparing for an interview I just finished having (went well except I was unnecessarily nervous) ... and in the midst of preparing for the interview I wrote the ending script to KM. And it's loverly (and touching and funny and just plain sweet). And it doesn't really fit in this section except I was also working on the script for Chp 7 at the same time. I'm such a multitasker.

I wonder if I stay hopped up on caffeine if I'll be able to write the next LOTR?

*fluffs bb* Can I help with costume designs too? I like making costumes. 8D Especially with belts. XD

I had to put off that one I was working on for you, hafta do some custom artwork for a dragon petshop thing I'm an artist for on Gaia Online and... something else that's really strange that my sweety dared me to draw... but yeah.

The armor was being a *bleep* at me anyway, I couldn't get it to draw right so I may have to redesign parts of it. D8

Sure. Um ... I'll post the three costume designs that I have so far. Kinda spoilerish, in that you'll know whose costumes they are, but I'm not too happy with KM's and if anyone can make the other two spiffier, be my guest.

Thanks, Mod. My biggest problem is getting them to all match together. I don't know how costume designers do it. Everyone kinda needs to look from the same era, but Tyr's costume is kinda space agey/tech

Pages :
cover - 100% finished
Page 1 - inking 80%
Page 2 - inking 100%
Page 3 - inking 10%
Page 10 or something (crowd scene with cameos) - 30% pencilled

This is what happens when I get bored easily ... I move onto the next page without finishing the previous. This method normally turns out better art. I don't draw well when I'm bored with something.

Apologies for the lack of updates. On the plus side, I've inked an additional two and a half pages. The downside is I'm procrastinating on coloring because it's not turning out at all like the sample that I posted on the forum a little while ago. I hate it when I forget how to color >_<
