Oh man, so I was on MSN and Animetor Lily said that the dog looked a lot like Daitsu (much to his bad luck). So since I looking for something random to draw, I ended up with this The Boys in Pink:

Poor Daitsu and Mishi. After coloring Daitsu I concluded that he was, in fact, wearing a tutu. So Mishi got a pink lacy collar and Dai gets a pink shirt.

Oh a random note, I'm trying to spiff up my drawing skillz, so I will start a new forum "game" of sorts.
1. Post any picture in this forum. It can be a photograph like the one above, or an anime/manga drawing. Or anything! The wierder or wackier the better. This picture will act as the "inspirational pic".
2. Suggest a character that you want to see. This can either be a KM character or a character from another comic, preferably from a comic I read ... but whatever, if it's not, then just post a reference pic alongside your "inspirational pic".
3. I will draw that character using the reference pic you post as inspiration.
4. As a bonus, I'd love it if you send me captions for each picture I draw. You can submit as many captions as you want. Just PM me with the suggestions. Then I will add the captions and put the captioned pictures as vote incentives. I will title each picture, so when you PM me, just put the title of the picture as the subject line of your PM.
PS: If any of that isn't clear, let me know, I'm pretty bushwacked right now.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and to make sure I actually keep up ... the a new "inspirational pic" can only be posted up once I finish the previous drawing ... I don't want a long queue of fifty pics to draw or anything >_>

Alrighty, so I'm officially evil. Here's the Chicken Prance (a play off of the Chicken Dance and sorta the Chicken Prince ... I know that doesn't make any sense...)

I know it's a crappy drawing, but it's my second or third drawing all on the comp and the first in a loooong while. So bear with me. I usually avoid drawing on the comp cuz I'm so terrible and hate the results, but I really want to improve all aspects of my art, tablet drawing included. I won't improve unless I try, so here tis. I initially started drawing Hyouden on paper as a chibi. I still want to. It'd be funny to see a little chibi Hyou as a pink chicken.
But ... if someone wants to suggest the next inspirational pic, go ahead and post. Also, anyone want to suggest captions?? My version of the Boys in Pink is already captioned and in the voting incentive for TWC.

Hyou-face should realize that it's a bra. Seriously. Poor guy, being blonde has made him air-headed! =(
Also, if you want a program good for sketching and digital "pencilwork" - OPENCANVAS. I can NOT stress this enough, good lord. Just try it, come on. If you want sketchiness in Photoshop I think you need to yank down the opacity and make the brush a soft brush (I'm not sure of that exactly. I never use Photoshop. XD)

Photoshop yields great sketchy results too. OpenCanvas does seem to have an easier time with the tablet thought. *shrug*
For photoshop, use a smaller hard brush with the settings for shape and opacity set for Pen Pressure.
I'll have the next one. Hang on...

Ah well, the joke was supposed to be about Hyouden's naivety. He's never seen a bra and tries to stay away from the crazy fangirls who want to be the next Queen of the Hayashi. Besides, most girls in his village end up wearing things that are more like corsets rather than bras.
There's a way to make Photoshop brushes sensitive to tablet use. I didn't turn on this setting. I'm trying to get used to the feel of the tablet and didn't bother with that setting.

Aw, you look so cute, Mod! You look Asian. Hmph. And you call me cruel. Poor Tak in a dress. Why are all the elf boys in drag? I drew a chibi version of Hyouden as a drag chicken. It amuses me. He looks like he's having so much fun. Having a bit of a harder time drawing Dai in a tutu because he keeps wanting to rip my head off. So I'm drawing him attacking someone to keep me in the clear.

Don't have to necessarily dress Tak in drag...though...would be unfair to have his brothers do so and not him. XD Having the trickster prince in any uniform would probably drive him batty. He'd look sharp though with a little tie and stuff. ^^
And if the rules apply, untucked shirts are out of dress code and you can get detention.

My mistake. I totally thought it looked like you. And unfortunately, I feel like we've got a theme going and don't want to ruin it. It'd be fun to draw the princes as chibis dancing in dresses. I really want to make Dai look happy, but he doesn't want to. Tak doesn't care about appearances as long as he gets to chase squirrels and eat cake. Now if he had to stand still and take that picture he'd go nuts. But let him lose in a uniform and it'd be ripped and out of place in no time. Basically, he'd just forget he was in a uniform.

In which case, after recess he'd be in detention for ruining his uniform. XD You have to throw in the punishment aspect! XD You could even add a ruler weilding sister. (Nuns are actually cloistered and don't teach school. Common misnomer. >_> Although all the sisters I had as teachers were incredibly nice. Actually ever nun/sister I've met has been an awesome person.)

I don't know anything about religion so these are probably a stupid questions, but how is it that you said that a nun can't teach but then right after that you said that every nun that you had for a teacher was nice. And ... what does "cloistered" entail? They have to live and work in the church?
